In X Minuten um die Welt is an educational game designed for 5th-grade German Geography instruction to support the unit “Atlasführerschein / Atlas-License.” The project uses interactive, game-based tasks to strengthen learners’ atlas-reading skills and geographic orientation, aligning play mechanics with the learning goals of the curriculum. In doing so, it positions navigation of maps and geographic information as core gameplay rather than a purely instructional add-on.
